HOLY TRINITY HOSPITAL was established in Lagos, Nigeria in 1966 by the late Dr (Chief) Victor Oloyede Awosika MB, MRCP, DTM&H, FWACP. GNMC, a pioneer private Medical Practitioner, as ESTATE CLINIC and HOLY TRINITY HOSPITAL.
The Hospital Group is a subsidiary of AVOWA Holdings which has successful investments in Education, Construction, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, and Commerce.
The Management team is headed by High Chief (Mrs.) Winifred Adefolahan Awosika, a seasoned and astute Administrator and founder of Chrisland Education Organization, a Nursery, Primary, and Secondary Schools concerning with the eventual University level plan. Thus in the near future, The HOSPITAL GROUP shall be part of the University.
At inception in Lagos, HTH redefined the healthcare landscape with Quality Industrial and Commercial/Private Medical care, trained many successful Medical Doctors and established itself as the largest private hospital in Lagos with 7 branches – i.e. in Ikeja (which has an 8 flat Doctors Quarters attached), Apapa, Ikorodu, Isolo Okokomaiko, Ondo, Abuja and 20 Industrial (in-plant) Clinics.
The ultra-modern ABUJA branch of the hospital was completed in August 2000 by Dr. (Mrs.) Busola Fasehun, The founder daughter. HTH Abuja is arguably, the largest private hospital in the capital city, with a 3-floor, 40-bedded edifice, with an innovative trolley ramp.
